Vocal Art Ensemble to Italy "In Flames of Inspiration- One Planet Festival" In Giovinazzo 22-29/6 2025

The choir's many years of commitment to the burning existential issues of our time resulted, to our joy, in us being honorably invited to represent Sweden at the very important festival for our environment "Flames of Inspiration, One Planet Festival" in Giovinazzo, Italy. Artists of various kinds from large parts of the world gathered in common strength and commitment for our environment.

In exciting collaboration with the French glaciologist Ugo Nanni, we gave several concerts in large cathedrals that were met with standing ovations and at the finale of the entire event: 3 concerts in a gigantic wine cellar (40x30 meters) in one of Italy's largest vineyards: Bocca di Lupo - choral singing with the sound of melting glaciers - unique experiences for both us and the audience.

Italian TV (RAI) covered the festival, which also featured in-depth conversations and discussions about how science and art can best collaborate for our environment.

We are now planning a continued collaboration in Sweden with glacier researcher Ugo Nanni during the coming season. A collaboration primarily with the universities of Gothenburg and Lund. The importance of how scientific research and art can collaborate for a better environment.
